If you choose to attack a neutral city or the middle ruins

  1. do you get +1 moral bonus for having all of the same color faction in your battle line?
  2. do you get to use your hero abilities for example if you are the embirans can you use the fire tounge ability if you have it active and you attacking with the correct corresponding hero to win over the city
  3. for some reason if you either miscalculated your strengh but you called out an attack on the nuertral city or ruins and didn’t have enough points to take it – OR – if you attempted to amulate a battle card and lost strength and didn’t have enough to take it would your hero be taken of the board?

Hi Stephen, here the answers to your questions: 1) yes, always – no matter what exactly the player is going to attack. 2) yes of course, just deactivate the token and declare that you are using this ability in the current battle. 3) in the first case I would say NO, because it is just an insignificant mistake… (If you want to play hardcore version, than after calling an attack you are already involved and you should lose your hero if miscalculated, but… it really depends on the community you are playing with…) To the second part of this question – yes, because after using the powers of the amulet your attack is considered done or started and in the described case it just failed… This is the risk of using amulets 🙂
